What is Viscose?
Viscose is a viscous organic liquid used to make rayon and cellophane. Viscose is becoming synonymous with rayon.

Viscose is very similar to cotton and silk. Viscose is soft and absorbent (nearly twice that of cotton), and very comfortable against the skin. Commercially, it is used in everything from fabrics to shirts, trousers, diapers, sanitary napkins, tissues, knitwear, towels, bed linen, kilts and tartan (obviously), and many other products.
